Roel van Velzen (stagename VanVelzen) is a Dutch singer, songwriter and piano player. He was born on March 20, 1978 in Delft, the Netherlands. He is known for releasing covers of songs which aren&quote;t that well known in The Netherlands. He released his debut single, &quote;Baby Get Higher&quote;, in 2006. It became an airplay hit in the Netherlands. It peaked at #17 in the Dutch Top 40. In January 2007, his second single, &quote;Burn&quote;, was released.
