DJ Zhao active as dj and sound curator since 2001, Zhao organized critically acclaimed long running sound-art and new music series TONE; founded and was resident DJ at techno club PULSE; and has opened up for groups such as Pan Sonic.

Legends was a project in the late 90ies consisting of Eric Clapton (guitar), Marcus Miller (bass), David Sanborn (sax), Joe Sample (piano) and Steve Gadd (drums). They performed a couple of concerts including the opening concert of the 31st Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland, 04. July 1997). This concert was recorded, but never officially released. The first thing that comes to mind when you hear the Lefties Soul Connection sound is the word ‘RAW’. Sound and music wise the band is influenced by funk acts like the Meters and the JB"e;s, but also by hip-hop acts like for example Jurassic 5, the Roots and Beastie Boys. Djumbo is a pop/bubblegum dance group based in the Netherlands. The band first started playing together back in 2001 under the name "Unexpected". After a few years of warming up the band decided to change their name to "Without A Trace". The project was announced 2007-06-05, the same day that both The Gathering and Anneke van Giersbergen issued separate announcements that van Giersbergen would leave the band in August. She and her new bandmates laid down some basic tracks for the first album at the Waterfront Studios in Rotterdam and recorded overdubs at The Void in Eindhoven, as well as in the comfort of her own home studio. AUTUMNAL REAPER originally formed as a spin-off/continuation of the rehearsal band "Raging Death"(1991-1993, R.I.P.), releasing some demotapes throughout the ?90?s before eventually spawning their debut full-lenght album ?Of Pure Damnation? in 1999 from where on things became more seriously for the band. After several mini/promotional CD?s, the band started working on their next full-length album ?March Of The Reaper?.

Nothington is a punk band formed out of the now defunct Tsunami Bomb shortly after their demise in Spring 2006 and are from San Francisco, CA. Lead singer Jay?s southern background provides a leaning towards soulful song writing mixed with influences that the band proudly wears on their road-worn hearts like Tom Waits, Leatherface, and Mike Ness. In Fall 2006, Tsunami Bomb members Gabe Lindmen and Jay Northington, began work on new demo tracks.

Destine is Holland’s response to punkpop bands such as Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan and Paramore. Noyalty is a six piece band hailing from Eindhoven, The Netherlands. Ever since starting out in the late summer of 2005, they have been creating a name for themselves in the emo, hardcore and punk scene. As a hardworking band, known for their energetic, powerfull and explosive liveshow, they are all about blending the elements of technical and intense emocore, the power, lyrical insightfulness and raw energy of modern hardcore bands, and adding fast melodic punkrock, staying true to their musical roots, to not fade away with the rest of nowerdays bands.

Mischa van de Bilt, known professionally as Mav, was born on the 4th of march 1979 in the small Belgian town of Lokeren. Having lived in Germany, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, and finally The Netherlands, Mav discovered the art of electronic music production at a very young age. At age 11 he began experimenting with various tracking programs including Modedit, Fasttracker 1 & 2, Madtracker, and finally settled on Buzz which remains his main tool for creating music to this day.

The Ensemble Tartit are Malian Tamashek (Tuareg), comprising five women and four men. Tartit means "e;union"e; in their language. They met in a refugee camp in Burkina Faso, where their music was a means of survival against the social and political mayhem in the Sahara Desert. Political strife for freedom and equality led, thus, to the formation of tartit in 1995. Within months after their foundation in 1995, Tartit performed their debut concert at the MASA Trade Fair for African Arts in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

Founded in Oslo in 1997, trio mediaeval has developed three distinct strands of repertoire: polyphonic medieval music from England and France, contemporary works and Norwegian medieval ballads and songs. The group"e;s initial phase was inspired by intense periods of work at the Hilliard Summer Festival in England and Germany, and subsequently with Linda Hirst and John Potter. Trio mediaeval has given concerts and radio broadcasts throughout Europe, in the USA and Canada. The ensemble released its first CD on ECM Records in October 2001.
